We made it!

After 92 days, 3384 miles, 9 countries and an estimated 400,000 calories on Thursday 18th September 2008 a two skinny, bearded and exhausted riders cycled from Brighton on the south coast of England to The InterContinental Hotel Park Lane in Central London marking the completion of Cycle Europe 2008 - an epic 3 month charity bike ride.

Jon Bradshaw and Marco Barcella were joined by friends both on the final leg as well as at The InterContinental Hotel to join in the celebrations of the successful completion of what only 2 years earlier was just a dream.

In announcing that the £20,000 fundraising target had been reached Jon shared just a few of the memories of the summer with the audience.

Jon’s brother in law Steve, whose stroke following a cycling accident had inspired him was there to ride the final few miles with the group and enjoy the champagne reception generously sponsored by the hotel.
